The Annotation Project, As Promised

Here we are, Sunday the 3rd, and it's time for the first round of annotations for Not Providence. Pickings were predictably slim—people are still getting used to this idea, finding the links, etc.—but it was a better start than I was perhaps expecting. Without further ado:

• From long-time commenter Glen, we have annotation requests for an explanation of the title, addressed in the Prologue (bottom of the page, the image hated me footnoting it); the origin of the term "angle man", addressed in Book 1 Part 3; and the elusive Star Trek joke in Book 1 Part 8. Glen is apparently one of those people who puts a fiver in the busker's guitar case.


• From longer-time commenter Kate, we have a question about the "Order of Eagles" mentioned in Book 1 Part 6.
